The New capital of Indonesia, is planned to be built on the island of Kalimantan. The project planning is ongoing and the implementation will start as soon as the bill passes. Among the main principles of the projects are green city, sustainable city, and convenience through technology.


Three Nordic countries have studied the preparations of the New Capital City of Indonesia and will present the findings of the background, principles, stakeholders, and development of the preparations.



Also, the current status of the six themes of the capital will be discussed:

  • Smart transportation
  • Smart buildings
  • Smart water
  • Smart energy
  • Smart waste management
  • Smart services (including connectivity).


The event also gives the audience insights into the project by world-renowned Indonesia expert Mr. Kevin O'Rourke.

At the end of the event, there will be a Q&A session where the audience gets the opportunity to ask questions to the speakers
